Jongile Energy and Resources is a black owned investment company in the energy sector with a key focus on infrastructure, acquisitions and financing in the energy sector.

Jongile Energy puts project concepts in place by giving technical and commercial advise on energy projects. We then raise capital to then invest into developed and viable projects either for our own interest and our core investors.
Jongile Energy invests in various strategic projects in the energy sector which includes retail network, fuel storage, gas blocks and terminals.

With key partners in supply, logistics and investment sectors, Jongile Energy is able to access and supply various products into the market through leveraging well established supply and financing networks across the continent and world.

About Our Founder
Luvo Makasi is qualified South African attorney and former director and the chairman of the board of the Central Energy Fund (CEF SOC Ltd), a South African state-owned company which reports directly to the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy. CEF is the parent company of AEMFC, iGas, PASA, PetroSA and SFF.

Luvo has a complete and unparalleled understanding of the entire South African energy sector, the just energy transition, associated projects, infrastructure and the relevant leadership. In addition, Luvo has a deep understanding of and is an expert in the legislative and regulatory environment within the energy sector operates.
